Following education at the University of Buffalo (NY) and service as an Infantry Officer in the US Army, Dick Sheehan spent the next 10 years in the corporate world. He was involved in sales, marketing, advertising and brand development; nationally and internationally. In 1978 he moved his young family to northern Palm Beach County, Florida and incorporated Sheehan Realty Corporation in 1980. Since then, Dick and the Sheehan Realty Corporation team have assisted hundreds of clients in the acquisition or sale of property on Florida’s Treasure Coast and throughout Florida. Marketing and consulting services have also been provided in Mexico, the Bahamas and other states; Sheehan Realty Corporation is a licensed Real Estate Broker both in Florida and in Tennessee. The professional services provided by Sheehan Realty Corporation have had a direct impact on the success of many real estate projects; both residential and commercial.

In addition to Mr. Sheehan’s professional accomplishments, he has served the community through his involvement in a number of organizations. He has served as Chairman for a number of charitable events and Boards of Directors, currently as Chairman of The First Tee of the Palm Beaches. From 1997 to 2007, Dick served on the Governing Board of the Loxahatchee River Environmental Control District (Encon) a state agency serving Palm Beach and Martin Counties; twice as Chairman. He is a past Member of the Florida Bar Association 15^th Judicial Court Grievance Committee and served for 10 years as a Governing Board Member for the Club at Admiral’s Cove and 8 years as President or Vice President of the Master Property Owner’s Association for Admiral’s Cove (Jupiter, FL).

As a member of the Treasure Coast business community, Mr. Sheehan enjoys the trust and respect of many of the area’s foremost law firms, accounting firms, title companies and other brokerage firms as is evidenced by the many clients that they have referred to Sheehan Realty Corporation over the years.
