Following education at the University of Buffalo (NY) and service as an Infantry Officer in the US Army, Mr. Sheehan spent the next twelve years in the corporate world. He was involved in sales, marketing, advertising and brand development, nationally and internationally. In 1978 he moved his young family to northern Palm Beach County, Florida and incorporated Sheehan Realty in 1980. Since then, Dick and his Sheehan Realty Corporation team have assisted thousands of people in the acquisition or sale of property here on Florida’s Treasure Coast. Mr. Sheehan has served the community for more than 27 years, active with civic organizations and charitable events. He currently serves as Chairman of the Governing Board of the Loxahatchee River Environmental Control District, a State agency serving the 73 square mile Loxahatchee River District. He is a past Member of the Florida Bar Association 15th Judicial Court Grievance Committee and has served for over 10 years as a Governing Board Member for the Club at Admirals Cove. As a member of the business community, Mr. Sheehan enjoys the respect of many of the area’s foremost law firms, accounting firms, title companies and other brokerage firms.
